Training - Swordsmanship, mainly fencing practice.

Reading - Has the tendency to read the same book over and over if she likes it.

Diary - Gaby keeps a journal, where she records her daily experiences inside, including a lot of complaints.

Lecturing - Seems to take pleasure from lecturing others, much to the dismay of many others.

God - Job requirement, mainly due to family influence and education.

Books - As well as the library.

Anything with wings - She will not tell you that she tried to fly by jumping off of a rooftop when she was young. Nowadays she can float using magic, but she still wishes she can fly with her own body mechanisms.

Anything girly - Or she tries to like them. Unfortunately she often fails trying.

Sweets - Not exactly a sweet-tooth, she prefers cakes and pastries over regular meals.

Intelligent people - You can be a genius, but she won't like you if you are not intelligent by her book. This can be rephrased and it would make more sense to say she thinks all her friends are intelligent people.

The Devil - AKA the bad and the evil stuff.

(Ugly)Bugs - Devil's minions, kill on sight.

Girly things - Despite her efforts to try to like them, she really just doesn't like them. :/

Being called tomboy/flat: She wishes she had a better body-shape and a more lady-like personality, but...

The holy staff - These things are too easily broken.

Stupid people - People she finds unpleasant. People who collects bugs are automatically placed in this category.

Despite her age, Gabriel has advanced mastery in holy magic. Her magic however, is not focused on healing. Instead, she uses it as an offensive weapon. A magic seal written on the back of her left hand allows her to create weapons out of holy magic alone, although she uses this function to create shields or longer ranged weapons mainly. In melee combat, she prefers her rapier over magic. Although still a knight in training, she is able to fend off most enemies with a combination of swordsmanship and magic. Situations where she has to fight alone is rare however, so she still lacks experience in real fights.

Misc, non-combat ability includes being able to talk non-stop for more than 3 hours.

At first glance, Gaby seems to be elegant and formal. Her manners are just about right, giving others a sense that she can be easily approached. However, as one becomes more acquainted with her, her gentle, lady-like demeanor tends to fade back to be replaced by a more outgoing, tomboy-like personality. Gaby tries to act like her job, but she is simply too feisty to keep the cover up for too long. A real Gaby is serious and stubborn. She clings to her belief like there's no tomorrow, and tries to convince everyone who might disagree with her. Having brought up in a strict environment she has very little sense of humor, and often takes things too seriously. As such, she is often teased by others, seeing how she always gets worked up over something small.

Being brought up on equal grounds with male members of the family has made her lacking in the ability to distinguish girl and boy differences. Her lack of a defined feminine figure, overly casual gestures and way of speech (as well as her boy-ish voice) has earned her the name of a tomboy. She does not like the name however, and strives to convince others that she is very much of a lady (and failing). Despite all the protests, she is unwilling to change her habit, and usually prefers swinging a sword than preaching and prayers.

Born from a deeply religious family, Gabriel has grown up having the holy bible grinded into her head. Her mother passed early, and she was sent to the Arcanian church for her formal educations by her father. Her father, a prominent priest and a high ranking member of the church, was an aloof and devoted man. Although Gaby did not receive much cares from him, she looked up to her father as a role model, and aspired to become a faithful servant of god since she was very little. Not granted her father's attention did not mean she did not strive to seek it. As such, Gaby was a serious and dedicated worker ever since she began to study in the church. The young girl showed significant talent in holy magic, especially in the offensive department. This pleased her father somewhat, and Gabriel was proud of it herself. She became one of the youngest graduates in the church's school, and was sent to Adysia, due to the fact that she saw herself more fitting to be a holy knight than a priestess.

At around age 13 she entered the Adysian military academy and was placed with the rest of the talented children among the bunch. However, Gaby was not pleased by the unequal treatment between males and females, and ended up joining the male division of the academy instead. She spent the rest of her 3 years training to catch up with the guys who she saw as rivals, but also ended up making friends with a lot of them (many teased her and questioned about her femininity). She took a short break from training due to an urgent call from the church, and returned to Arcania when she was 16. It was there that she found out that her father had betrayed the church, and was plotting to overthrow the pope with the help of dark magic.

The betrayal of her father had a great impact on her. Gabriel had to make a decision to stick with the church or follow her father. In the next few years she had multiple conflicts with both sides, at first trying to consolidate and make peace between them, and later on fighting with both sides when it was apparent that peace was impossible. During that time, she met a wandering warrior named Raven. Raven's independent and carefree demeanor influenced her, and eventually made her realize that she must choose to side with herself, her own beliefs for the greater good.

Seven months before her 18th birthday, Gabriel took arms and stained her rapier with her father's blood. She carried her father's corpse to the church and pleaded guilty in front of the pope, seeking forgiveness for him. Her action shook the church members, and the pope, admiring the young woman's courage and strong faith, discharged her alleged crimes.

I am in no position in forgiving you child...your father had turned to the devil, and you must from now on bear the name of a devil's child. If you seek retribution, then know what you must do. Prepare your life to serve the good, and god may bestow his forgiveness upon you.

Inspired by the pope's words, Gaby entered the election for archbishop when the former one retired on her birthday. Her passionate speech and her sincerity won her the position. Since then, Gabriel has been working within the church, overseeing God's believers in hopes to be forgiven. In the meantime, she continues to train periodically in the Adysian Military academy, wishing to serve the church even after she's relieved from her archbishop position.

Gaby hates it when people call her a tomboy or tease her about her small breasts. Do it will surely make her angry at you.

The staff that she holds represents her status as the archbishop. It is in no way a weapon. In fact, Gaby has broken several holy staffs before by using it as a weapon.

Fears bugs, especially those with crawly legs. To hide this fear from others she claims that all bugs are devil's minions, and would gladly start a crusade against them if she manages to gather enough support. (un?)fortunately, there's never been much support for this cause.

Gaby was once a student at Adysia military academy. She still travels to Adysia on weekly basis to train in the military, despite her now honored status.

Gabriel killed her own father. This does not mean, however, that she is a cold blooded person. On the contrary, she is deeply troubled by this event, and is often haunted by nightmares of it. Her faith prevents her from breaking down, but in certain situations she tends to humble herself, believing she's unworthy of praise or other generous offerings.
