The colour scheme, as well as the general effect with which they were applied, make it seem warm and vibrant. What program did you use for it? Did you do anything specific, or use any specific effect/tool/etc. to give it that warm watercolour-esque style?
Do you sketch/draw your line work via digital media/mediums, or more often via traditional mediums? Which do you normally lean towards regarding the colouring/touch-up side of your pieces? Have you ever tried using Copic markers, Copic drawing pens, or watercolour pencils?
They both look really handsome and the peguins are just adorable *squishes them*
